Overview

The Community Clinical Manager ("CCM") role is designed to engage with underrepresented communities across all therapeutic areas to increase clinical trial awareness and interest in trial participation. 

 

  • The CCM will create, cultivate, and manage trusted community relationships in communities of color in an assigned territory of the U.S.  
  • The CCM will help communities gain greater access to clinical trial information and education by fostering meaningful connections with local community partners and influencers.
  • The CCM will implement community-based initiatives.
  • Strong candidates will have a pulse on health trends impacting under-served communities, serving a translator and connector between communities and the client’s programs.
  • The CCM will present and/or facilitate impactful and informative presentations to a wide range of audiences.
  • Participation in data collection, measurement and reporting of results will be an integral part of the role, accountable for attainment of metrics.

 

Responsibilities

Community Engagement

  • Build credibility with community stakeholders and collaborative partners, during engagements anchored by strong leadership behaviors, authenticity, agility, and health equity mindset.
  • Support outreach tactics including communications through social media, print materials, webinars, community meetings, health fairs, etc.
  • Work with community leaders and staff to implement effective community programming.

Project Management

  • Collaborate with colleagues who build and maintain comprehensive project plans.
  • Contribute to in-house and client meetings, sharing the perspectives of the community.
  • Contribute to budget management by estimating and tracking time for tasks and expenses.
  • Ensure communication occurs in a transparent and timely manner.
  • Work independently applying strategic thinking and analytical rigor.
  • Diligent in completion of time/activity tracking information.
  • Consistently and diligently comply with client’s regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Master’s (preferred) or bachelor’s in Public Health, Health Education, Nursing, or related fields

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of field-based partnership management which included regular and direct interactions with one or more local community stakeholders
  • Previous experience working in Public Health programming preferred
  • Requires regional travel of approximately 70% depending on geography (includes overnight travel)
  • Requires regular face-to-face and virtual meetings with central teammates in New Jersey
  • Ability to maintain an office in your home
  • Must live in your assigned region and in close proximity to an airport
